What is induction?

Induction is a heating method based on electromagnetic induction, which uses electricity as its source of energy.

An induction electric range heats only the container it is designed for exclusively. When the current passes through a coil, a magnetic field is generated in the coil. This magnetic field passes through the container on the cooking surface, heating it without generating a flame due to the resistance (magnetism) contained within the container.

Induction cooking is the most advanced cooking method available today.
